From Falzeben with the touring skis or snowshoes up to the Spieler Mountain (2,080 m).
This tour is easy, runs in an avalanche-safe area and offers a magnificent view. Over the Moschwaldalm through forests and meadows to the Spieler Mountain.
From there, to the Merano hut and back on the forest path, and the Rotwand hut to the parking lot (approx. 4.5 hours, 440 m ascent).
The Kuhleiten route on Merano 2000
The ski touring route runs along the hiking trail (no. 14) from Falzeben to the Zuegg hut, past the Rotwand hut.
The Mittelweg trail takes you to the Waidmannalm and on to the Kuhleiten hut at 2,362 m.
